In January 2022, DST innovation GmbH moved into its headquarters in Buchen (Odenwald). The company was founded and registered by Thilo Schuppler in December of the previous year. Commercial register Mannheim local court HRB 742126.

The qualified chemist and NBC defence officer has been working in the security and defence industry for over 15 years, is a NATO expert for CBRN Defence and a member of the German Society for Disaster Medicine (DGKM e.V.).
